NOS offers attenuators in several styles to meet the varying demands of all customers. Fixed Bulkhead or “build-out” attenuators are male/female units and are offered in SC, FC, ST, LC and MU. In-line attenuators can be offered with any connector type required. In-line fixed attenuators are manufactured utilizing doped fiber to ensure optimum performance, better back reflection, and low wavelength dependence loss. Variable in-line attenuators offer several options. In FC or SC connectors the control can be positioned in the connector or the attenuation control can be placed elsewhere within the cordage.
